HORSE SHOW
RULES
NEW FOR 2011
- the show ring at CNHP will no longer be available for schooling
purposes in advance of the Series Shows and Hunter Shows. To
clarify, the ring will be closed in the evening when the jump course
is being set and will remain closed until the start of the show. All riders
wanting to school on the Grounds the morning of any
show will have to use the designated warm-up ring. This is due to
safety concerns and liability issues for the volunteers working at
the show. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
CNHP is changing the requirements for liability insurance for 2012.
As well as accepting NSEF memberships, the club will now
accept personal policies, such as HEP. However, we will require a
copy of the policy and a letter from your insurer stating that you
are covered for one million in liability insurance for this type of
activity. This letter will be kept on file for the year. If the
policy is renewed during the CNHP membership year (Jan-Dec), the
club will require and updated letter.
